Bannerware Buying Guide

1) Choose Banner Size & Arm Length

Match arm length to banner width (e.g., 18", 24", 30"). Larger banners require stronger arms and secure banding. See Banner sizing tips.

2) Select Mounting Hardware

Use Fibreflex® Brackets for flexibility and durability. For permanent installs, pair with stainless banding, buckles, and a BAND-IT tool. Explore hardware options.

3) Plan for Wind & Exposure

Consider local wind zones and street orientation. Opt for flexible arms and proper spacing to reduce strain. Review install guidelines.

4) Install: Temporary vs. Permanent

Temporary: mechanical straps/bolts (seasonal). Permanent: stainless banding with BAND-IT tool for tamper-resistant, long-term installations. Watch the BAND-IT tool video.

5) Inspect & Maintain

Check tension, band condition, and arm integrity each season. Replace worn components promptly. Get replacement parts.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bannerware & Hardware

Choose reliable hardware to keep your pole banners secure and looking great season after season.
Below are common questions about Fibreflex® Brackets, banding hardware, wind-load considerations, and installation.
For more details, see our Bannerware page and related guides.

What comes in a typical banner hardware kit?

Standard kits include upper and lower Fibreflex® Brackets (arms), mounting plates, and fasteners.
Permanent installations often use stainless BAND-IT style banding (sold separately) for pole attachment.
See Bannerware for options.

Are Fibreflex® Brackets compatible with different pole sizes?

Yes. Fibreflex® Brackets work with common streetlight and utility pole diameters.
Choose the correct banding length and width for your pole size and follow torque guidelines.
Refer to our hardware specifications for sizing notes.

How do I permanently install brackets with a BAND-IT tool?

For permanent installs, use stainless banding and a BAND-IT banding tool to tension and lock the bands around the pole, then trim tails.
Watch the how-to video on our Bannerware page (BAND-IT tool video) for step-by-step guidance.

How do wind and weather affect hardware selection?

Wind exposure and banner size influence arm length, bracket selection, and recommended banding.
Use spring-loaded or flexible Fibreflex® arms to help shed wind loads and extend hardware life.
See our Banners for sizing considerations.

What maintenance do banner brackets need?

Inspect bands, buckles, and arms each season; re-tension or replace worn parts.
Clean hardware when changing banners and verify safety stops and end caps are intact.
